This course provides an overview of the COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination rule and requirements, an introduction to interpretive guidance, and additional instructions and steps to the survey process. This new rule requires each facility to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure all staff are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. As a result, a new federal tag F888 is added into the LTC requirements. The interpretive guidance of F888 and survey process are developed to assist surveyors in making compliance determination.
