Training Description
This BLSC-SP training intends to introduce surveyors to the survey process for conducting Life Safety Code (LSC) surveys. This training is a prerequisite for the Basic LSC Training and provides an overview of what surveyors do before, during, and after an LSC survey. This training will aid you in developing your surveyor skills and proficiency.
Training Objectives: On completion of this training, you will be able to:
- Identify the correct way to conduct each step of the LSC survey process.
Training Duration: 6 hours
Completion Requirements: This self-paced BLSC-SP training includes a mandatory pretest, three learning modules, a mandatory posttest, and a CMS-approved training evaluation. Both the posttest and the evaluation must be completed to generate a certificate of completion. To pass the BLSC-SP Training, you must score a minimum of 80 percent on the training posttest.
