Training Description
This course provides an overview of the COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination rule and requirements, an introduction to interpretive guidance, and additional instructions and steps to the survey process. This is a mandatory course for Acute and Continuing Care and AO surveyors. This new rule requires each facility to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure all staff are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. As a result, new federal tags were added into the Acute and Continuing Care requirements. The interpretive guidance of these rules and survey process are developed to assist surveyors in making compliance determination.
