Training Description
This ICF-IID Basic training is intended to provide surveyors with a basic understanding of the processes and requirements related to surveying ICF-IID facilities. All ICF-IID facilities are required to comply with certain Federal regulations to be eligible for funding from CMS. This training uses instruction and interactive scenarios to develop surveyors’ skills and proficiency with the components and procedures of ICF-IID surveys.
Training Objectives: On completion of this training, you will be able to identify:
- ICF-IID core concepts.
- Initial survey activities.
- Survey tasks.
- Activities involved in completing surveys.
- Deficiencies described in comprehensive activity scenarios.
Training Duration: 24 hours
Completion Requirements: This self-paced ICF-IID Basic training includes a mandatory pretest, five learning modules, a mandatory posttest, and a CMS-approved training evaluation. Both the posttest and the evaluation must be completed to generate a certificate of completion to earn training CEUs. To pass the ICF-IID Basic Training, you must score a minimum of 80% on the course posttest.
