Training Name: Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities Basic Training (ICFIID_BTO)

Training Description: The Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID) Basic Training Online Course is designed to prepare surveyors to survey this provider type. Upon completion of this training, you will be able to:

  • Identify ICF/IID core concepts.
  • Identify initial survey activities.
  • Identify survey tasks.
  • Identify activities involved in completing the survey.
  • Identify deficiencies described in scenarios in a comprehensive activity.


In order to successfully complete this training and earn CEUs, the learner must pass the training post test with a 80% pass rate and complete the training evaluation.

Prerequisites:

  1. Introduction to Surveying for Non-Long Term Care OR BHFS—Basic Health Facility Surveyor—Introduction to Surveying for Long Term Care (includes Resident Assessment Instrument Minimum Data Set 3.0)
