A new Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT) section will be added to the Long Term Care (LTC) Training Plan and will be located between the Basic (mandatory) and Post-Basic (mandatory) sections of the LTC Training Plan. The SMQT testing requirements will not change and still include State requirements, Prerequisites, and Long Term Care Basic training.
Post-Basics (mandatory) training will be available after the completion of the Prerequisites and Basics sections of the LTC Training Plan, including Emergency Preparedness Basic Training. Access to Post-Basic (mandatory) training will no longer be dependent on the completion of the SMQT. Users will now be able to complete training in the Post-Basic section before taking the SMQT.
As we continue to assess the usage and performance of the LTC Training Plan, additional changes may occur.
